C2-A Greyhound - "COD"

The CODs (Carrier On-Board Delivery) are probably the most favored aircraft amongst the ship's crew of 5,500. These are the planes that deliver civilian passengers, supplies, and most importantly, the crew's mail, to and from the ship. During any one launch-and-recovery evolution, the COD is always the last plane to launch and the last plane to be recovered. With a wingspan of 80', it is the second-largest aircraft that operates on the carrier.
