Hangar BayEnterprise's hangar bay as seen from forward looking aft. The E-2C Hawkeye seen here is an airborne early warning and control aircraft, which provides radar coverage and enemy location to the Enterprise and her battle group. With a wingspan of 80'7", the Hawkeye is the largest aircraft launched and landed aboard the carrier. To the left is Aircraft Elevator Door #1, which leads outside to one of the four aircraft elevators.
