"What the fuck am I doing here?" says Steven Sigmon during week five of boot camp, also known as 'Service Week.' Most guys spent these seven days working in the galley or doing other BS jobs for 12 hours or more. I was fortunate enough to get a very cozy Service Week job as an assistant for the RTC Chaplain's Office. Seaman Recruit Sigmon just came home from a long day of scrubbing dishes and swabbing the mess decks.
