First and foremost, great site. There is so much to say, and not enough space, but I served from 92-96, and unfortunately let a woman talk me out of the MED.."it's no way to raise a family"..should of never listened. I served first at the LIFAC (light industrial facility) with the all time best Master Chief Raines(HTMC), then was put in repair division with some of the best guys anyone could ever meet:
HT3 Chris Cleveland
HT3 Robert Kennedy
HT2 Scott Lofton
HT1 Hoyt
HT3 Booker
HT3 Joe Druschel
HTFN Franz
and the list could go on. There are so many good memories, from the shipyard, to St. Maarten. Any of you guys remember me, feel free to email anytime. BIG E Rules the Sea.

I just went through the entire guestbook and didn't find a single familiar name. I was an AG2 on the O13 deck and a plankowner 61-62. Proud of that duty.

I served on her from June 87 until Oct 89, it seems like a lifetime ago. I wish all who serve on her good fortune, and following seas. I'll be there at the decom ceremony in 2013. Thank you

I servered in the worlds finest navy onboard the enterprise as an SK2 in the S-8 div & S-1A (during the overhaul) from 88' to 93'. I miss it sometimes, but those days are only bragging rights now. Great site Smitty, seems like I remember you from those days, but there were alot of guys on that tub. Merry Christmas to all my good shipmates, stay safe.

I served on Enterprise from 1968-1970. I never really missed her until I saw the Discovery Channel's program on the fire. I found out I really do have a soft spot in my heart for her. It would be really great to go aboard again just to "snoop" around. Hope I live that long.
