I have a photo of the USS Enterprise taken in 1976 anchored in the middle of the Derwent River on what i believe was her first visit to OZ.
I remember it well and cherish the photo.

Good website Smitty.I was Proud to serve on the Big-E, 1ST Div between the years of 75 to 79.Made 2 West Pac Cruises, when she was part of the 7th Fleet.I miss being on the helm steaming into the orient sunset.Not too many people can say that they drove the mightest ship in the United States Navy.
